A Vision Rooted in Hard Work
West Virginia has always been a state built by the hands of its people. From the coal mines of McDowell County to the steel mills along the Ohio River, our workers have powered this nation for generations. Yet too many of our neighbors have watched good-paying jobs disappear, replaced by uncertainty and silence where factories once hummed.
My vision is simple: bring those jobs back — and create new ones built for the 21st century. That means fighting for trade policies that protect American workers, incentivizing manufacturers to choose West Virginia, and investing in the infrastructure that makes our state an attractive destination for business.
Supporting Union Workers and Small Businesses
As someone who came up through union apprenticeship, I know firsthand what fair wages and safe working conditions mean to a family. I will stand with organized labor at every turn. But job creation isn't only about large employers — our small businesses are the backbone of every community in this state.
We need to cut red tape that strangles small business growth, expand access to capital for entrepreneurs, and create mentorship pipelines that turn ideas into livelihoods. When our small businesses thrive, our downtowns come alive, our families stay, and our communities grow stronger.
A Commitment to Every Corner of the State
Economic growth cannot be confined to Charleston or Morgantown. It must reach Welch, Elkins, Logan, and every county in between. I am committed to a development strategy that leaves no community behind — one that pairs workforce training with real job opportunities, right here at home.
