Building the Roads, Bridges, and Broadband We Need
West Virginia has a proud industrial heritage, but too much of our infrastructure is aging, crumbling, or simply absent. Roads and bridges that were built for the last century are struggling to meet the demands of this one. Fixing them is not just a matter of convenience — it is a matter of economic survival.
When our roads are in disrepair, businesses don't invest. When our bridges are structurally deficient, emergency responders can't get where they're needed. I will make infrastructure investment a top priority, bringing federal dollars home to rebuild West Virginia from the ground up.
Closing the Digital Divide
Broadband access is no longer a luxury — it is as essential as electricity. Yet tens of thousands of West Virginia households still lack reliable high-speed internet. Without it, our students can't compete, our businesses can't grow, and our rural communities fall further behind.
My administration will aggressively pursue federal broadband funding and work with providers to ensure that every home in West Virginia — from the Eastern Panhandle to the coalfields — has access to the internet speeds needed to participate in the modern economy.
Water Infrastructure Is Public Health Infrastructure
Too many of our communities are dealing with failing water systems — pipes that are decades old, treatment facilities that can't meet modern standards, and distribution networks that lose more water than they deliver. This is unacceptable in the 21st century. Investing in water infrastructure is investing in the health and dignity of our people, and I will prioritize it accordingly.
